27 May 2014 - Cara Dillon and Ian Siegal's new CD's as well as some banjo and blues

Hi all

its been a busy few weeks for the FandBS, lots of CDs coming in and loads of downloads piling up in a long queue winding their way down download land inside my email inbox.  2 CDs that dad appear out of the blue a couple of weeks ago were both from www.jameshsoar.com Cara Dillon 'A Thousand Hearts' and Ian Siegal 'Man and Guitar'.  Now James emailed me the other day to ask how the playing was going on and had i had the chance to give them a listen and include them on my play list.  This is a reminder that i need and it worked a treat as i ended up putting 2 tracks off each one - a rarity indeed.  So why stop there with 2's up and off I went with Mark Harrison's 'Crooked Smile' and Tumbling Bones's -Lovin A Fool'  all excellent tracks and here's the list ...ALL UP!!

13 May - New Tunes from The Mae Trio 'Housewarming' and Damian Helliwell 'Metta' plus some Blues.... of course

Hi all

Well it looks like I'm getting my 'rear into gear' as it were as for some bizarre reason I've got 'What's In The Post?' all boxed off with a couple of tracks from this week's post already slotted in this week's show, it wont last I can tell you, so don't hold your breathe for a repeat performance!

'The Morris Round Up' is getting into full swing with lots of sides out and about around Bath, Bristol, Somerset and beyond.  We could get a Tom Waits tune in as well if I'm this organised. Its a good job that Tom did a lot of really good tunes around the 2-3 minute mark.
