17 December 2013 - Shesham & Lotus & Son and maybe a Christmas tune

Hi all

Thumbing through all the CD's you've sent me over the years, I found at the back one from bloodygreatpr.com that seemed to have gone under the radar and before 'What's in the Post?' This was '1929 - New Kings of Old Time' by Sheesham & Lotus & Son; They're touring in 2014 if you're interested.  Having let this slip I've apologised to myself and to overcome the guilt I will be playing 3 yes 3 tracks from it on this week's show, also its bloody good and has jug and kazoo throughout, which in my bag is a winner!  Also as its coming up to Christmas - and instead of playing all those folkie 'xmas' tunes and those people who insist of playing wassailing tunes before Christmas and for the Christmas period (no no i say, keep it for Old Christmas please and Old Twelvey Night as it should be) - I may be Bahh humbug!! enough to play a Christmas tune, just the one mind!  Hopefully we'll have 'Time for Tom'  but as Tom Waits for no man - it could be a tight run thing.

So here is the track listings for this week
